It's Raining Cockroaches
Muddy roads are not the only problem we have when it rains. Everyday it pours, cockroaches descend in droves, it seems. They are in our kitchens, bathrooms, under the bed, offices, taxis, literally everywhere. There are more cockroaches flying around more than nsenene, which of course is a very bad thing for our your life and those you love. Nobody likes cockroaches. They are dirty creatures. They crawl from stinking latrines, manholes, garbage areas and other disgusting places to shelter with us. They posses tiny legs, but, they carry deadly germs which pose a threat to human health.
So why are they running riot during the rainy season?
It's cold outside and rain water can sweep them away from the face of this earth. They fear! They run to homes or your office to seek refuge. They like to stay in places that are warm and are able to provide moisture. Not that they will go away when it stops raining. When cockroaches visit you, they rarely want to leave until you force them out. They stay for as long as they can find left over food in the kitchen, crumbs and water.
Honestly, it could be hard to wipe them out of the face of this big world because they have many places to hide, but your home shouldn't be a place for them.
Here are seven ways to keep them out
1. Inspect your home to make sure all cracks and crevices that cockroaches could use as access points are sealed.
2.Make sure all manholes are properly sealed
3.Don’t leave food out in the open in your home.
4.Store pantry items in sealed air-tight containers.
5.Avoid leaving dirty dishes in the sink overnight.
6.Keep sink drains cleaned out.
Empty trash cans regularly.
